The smallest offering in the crossover range of the German automaker has been recently enhanced, mainly with subtle design tweaks to enhance its urban crossover appearance.
The Cross up! can be had across Europe with prices starting from €14, 250 – which is up €325 – when selecting the entry-level version with the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine packing 75 horsepower (55 kilowatts). The refresh includes a modified front end with a refreshed radiator grille, restyled fog lamps and new graphics for the headlights. The side repeaters have been transferred to the side mirrors from the front fenders and the 16-inch, two-tone alloy wheels are also new. The model is 15 mm higher in terms of ground clearance compared to the regular model and has plastic body cladding, Cross Up! badges, and silver anodized roof rails.
Inside, there’s a standard leather package, color-coordinated dashpad, seat covers in “cross” design, and orange ambient lighting. The model will get the two infotainment options just like its standard sibling when it was also refreshed earlier this year. Aside from the scullion naturally aspirated engine, Volkswagen also has a turbo version which packs an additional 15 hp (11 kW) for a total of 90 hp (66 kW), mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
