The French based automaker Renault has recently announced its plans to officially introduce a brand new Renaultsport vehicle at the upcoming 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next month.
Renault is planning on taking the game to another level and after introducing the Kadjar, its own compact crossover aimed towards the C-segment and announcing a bigger version of the upcoming Koleos, time has come for the company to plan yet another Renaultsport model which will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March. We are not sure at this time exactly what this model may be but rumor has it that it will be an RS version of the Captur.
This is likely more plausible considering the fact that the Nissan Juke is already offering a high performance version. The model in question will be gaining probably the 1.6 liter turbo engine under its hood, with approximately 200 HP. Besides this, some chassis modifications will be made too, along with better brakes. The exterior design will become more aggressive thanks to the addition of the new body kit while the interior will be gaining several minor tweaks.
Keep in mind that the Captur RS hasn’t been confirmed yet but this is the most plausible model to receive the Renaultsport treatment. Besides the updated RS model, Renault will be also pulling the wraps off a modified version of the ZOE, which will be getting a new electric motor in Geneva. The Kadjar crossover will be making its public debut at the same automotive event and Dacia will be introducing a new limited edition model to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand’s rebirth.
