The first rendering with the Renault Clio Estate RS 200 EDC has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first glimpse into what the model might look like if it will hit the market.
The new generation of the Renault Clio RS 200 EDC has some serious competition in its segment but the carmaker might take everyone by surprise and develop a new body style for the model. There is no official word on a possible Renault Clio Estate RS 200 EDC, but that doesn’t mean that the model has no chance of seeing daylight, and I bet that the carmaker has considered such a version.
As a quick reminder, the new Renault Clio RS 200 EDC is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, replacing the old 2.0 liter naturally aspirated, which is producing a total output of 197 HP (200 PS) and 240 Nm of torque (177 lb-ft). The unit is mated to the dual clutch six-speed transmission with paddle shifters. Fuel consumption stands at 6.3 liters / 100 km (37.3 mpg US). Prices for the new Renault Clio RS 200 EDC have been set at 24,990 euros in France. Deliveries of the model started in March. You can check out Chris Harris’ test drive the Clio RS EDC below.
