Renault Clio facelift introduced with Edition One image

This special edition has a rather familiar name – Mercedes-Benz has been known to pack Edition 1 special series for the first year of production to some of its models.

Renault is now developing the recently refreshed Clio with an Edition One special series – the production time is unknown though – which could bring customer savings of 900 euros. The Renault Clio Edition One is now available for both body styles – hatchback and wagon. Based on the latest update for the Clio family, the Edition One packs full LED headlights and 17-inch black diamond-cut alloys, with a choice of five exterior shades to begin with – the pearlescent white will be an Edition One exclusive. Other highlights include the darkened rear windows, special roof decals, and unique side mirror caps.

Moving inside owners will find a six-speaker Bose sound system, complete with subwoofer. The interior comes with matching trim depending on the exterior hue and there’s also a standard full-grain leather steering wheel matched by a set of aluminum pedals. The buyers can order the Edition One with the TCe 90 and TCe 120 turbocharged gasoline motors or the dCi 90 and 110 diesel engines. The petrol options are linked to a manual transmission, but the more powerful one can be had with a dual-clutch, automatic gearbox also available for the base diesel. Renault has opened the order books at home in France where prices start from €19,650 for the hatchback – get the estate for €600 more. The flagship Edition One is the Energy dCi 90 EDC Estate starting from €24,250.
