Renault is slightly bringing back to life its Gordini sub-brand and even if the cars aren’t 250 or 300 horsepower beasts, they offer a touch of the past that make them appealing to lovers of the old models that were wearing the white longitudinal bands on the body.

The Renault Clio GT Gordini comes with new 16 inch diamond-cut finish wheels, sports seats with the Gordini logo on them, leather wrapped steering wheel, metal gear knob, aluminum pedals, dual exhaust and wing mirrors in arctic white, which are giving the small hatchback a touch of sportiness.

The Clio GT Gordini is powered by a 1.6 liter petrol engine which is delivering only 130 horsepower but that’s enough to provide it with an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h of 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 197 km/h, all of these with an average fuel consumption of just 6.7 liters every 100 kilometers.

Other features found on the new Clio GT Gordini are the eight airbags, ESP, automatic climate control, automatic switching on the lights and wipers, CD/MP3, cruise control, speed limited and an exclusive body kit for 16.750 euros for the three-door version, while the five-door has been priced at 17.500 euros.
