Renault Clio RS Monaco GP – first official image emerges

An official image with the brand new Renault Clio RS Monaco GP has recently hit the web ahead of its public debut which will take place during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, next week.

Renault is getting ready for the 2014th edition of the Geneva Motor Show and one of the models which will be officially unveiled over there will be this brand new Clio RS Monaco GP. The image posted above hasn’t been released by the French based automaker and it’s actually a leaked photo, which is providing us with the first details of this new model.

The new Renault Clio RS Monaco GP has received some cosmetic tweaks, along with the White Frost Pearl exterior color and the contrasting glossy finishes for the lower section of the front bumper, for the front grille, mirror casings and window surrounds. The model in question is also riding on some 18-inch five spoke alloy wheels, which are contributing to the looks of the car.

This small hot hatchback will be getting the white trim on the door panels and on the dashboard, along with the so-called RS Monitor, which is allowing the driver to record his / her lap times, amongst others. Power will be provided by a 1.6 liter gasoline four-cylinder engine, producing 200 HP (147 kW) and 234 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. The unit will be mated to a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, which will send power to the front wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 6.7 seconds and top speed will stand at 230 km/h (143 mph).
