The French based automaker Renault will produce the new generation of the Clio in Turkey and in France.
There is no official detail on this subject for the moment but some rumors which appeared in the automotive media are saying that the new generation of the Renault Clio will be produced at the company’s factories in Flins, France, and Bursa, Turkey. Both the hatchback and the estate versions will be assembled at the facilities mentioned above and production will start simultaneously the Turkey and France. In Flins, the Clio will share the same production line with the Zoe.
As a quick reminder, the 2013 Renault Clio has been officially presented to the public last month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The model is 3.5cm longer than its predecessor, 4.5cm lower and 2.4cm wider and it’s coming with a 1.2L TCe engine with 120 HP, along with the new three-cylinder 900cc Energy TCe with 90 HP and the 1.5L dCi diesel with 90 HP. Features found on the new Clio includes the R-Link tablet, the double clutch six-speed EDC transmission or the R-Link multimedia with touch screen, along with the rearview camera, the Renault Bass Reflex System or the keyless access.
