Renault has released extra details on the new Sandero RS and it has also introduced a large photo gallery with the budget hot hatch.
The brand new Renault Sandero RS is a controversial vehicle especially since the carmaker has no plans to offer it on the Old Continent, with the Dacia logos on its body, and it is only selling it in Brazil at this point, but perhaps some marketing schemes, like releasing extra details on it and a large photo gallery can do the trick. The model in question is now sitting 26 mm closer to the road compared to the regular version of the Sandero, and it has 17 percent stiffer sway bar up front and 65 percent stiffer at the rear.
The Renault Sandero RS has an updated exterior design as well, with a new front bumper, a tailgate mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser, LED daytime running lights, various decals, the R-Link infotainment system in the cabin, climate control, RS Drive selectable driving modes and others. Under its hood we can find a 2.0 liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, producing a total of 150 HP (110 kW) and 195 Nm (144 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the front-wheel drive. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the vehicle needs 8 seconds, 1.3 seconds more than the Clio RS. Top speed stands at 202 km/h (126 mph). Prices for it start from the equivalent of 14,000 euros.
