A brand new special edition of the Renault Duster in Argentina has been recently introduced in Argentina, named the Los Pumas, which is using rugby players to promote itself.
Just a day ago we have written about the Renault Duster RxZ Plus limited edition, which was introduced in India, before that we’ve told you about the Nissan Terrano, the Duster-based SUV which will be unveiled this month, and before that we’ve shown you some spy images with the facelifted version of the Duster. This means that the low-cost SUV is being aggressively promoted worldwide and the newest info on the model is coming all the way from Argentina, where the Los Pumas Special Edition Duster has just been introduced.
The model in question is getting the Adventure Kit which is adding the front bumper with another set of fog lights, protective plastic moldings for the side, a side step and some other tweaks. The model is also getting the UAR (United Argentina de Rugby) badge and a pretty impressive engine, a 2.0-liter 16-valve petrol engine, with 138 BHP, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Power can be sent to either the 2WD or the 4WD. Standard items include the 7-inch touch screen with navigation and media system, two front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS and 16-inch alloy wheels. Prices for the 4×2 start at 160,100 Pesos (21,690 EUR) and for the 4×4 at 172,600 Pesos (23,384 EUR).
