Renault has recently announced a special edition of the Duster, called the Road Tech II, for Brazil.
After officially pulling the wraps off the facelifted version of the Renault Duster just a few days ago, the model is entering our news once again, this time in its pre-facelift variant, which has just received a new special edition in Brazil. According to the French based automaker, the model in question is known as the Duster Road Tech II Edition and it’s actually based on the Road Tech I Edition, which was introduced more than a year ago, in September, 2012.
The new Renault Duster Road Tech II Edition is getting the black masks for the headlights, the Dark Star grille, the blackened roof rails, the grey mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels, the blackened air inlets, the lower body cladding and the Road Tech II decals on the bootlid. In the cabin we can see the company’s own 7-inch touch screen media system with navigation and, considering the fact that the model is based on the Dynamique version, this is also getting the two front airbags, the ABS and the rear parking sensors as standard. Power will only be provided by the 2.0 liter 16-valve petrol burner, which is good for 132 BHP (petrol) or 142 BHP (ethanol) and 197 Nm (petrol) or 209 Nm (ethanol) torque. The uniis is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
