Renault might be offering a production version of the Eolab Concept which was officially presented to the public earlier this year, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
If you are a Renault fan than you definitely know what the during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, and if you liked it, there may be some good news because the company might put it into production. The ultra fuel-efficient one-off vehicle will definitely get a different name for the production variant because mixing its letters will give shivers to anyone who is a fan of the mainstream media.
The Renault Eolab Concept will be priced from less than 20,000 euros and this will be a good figure considering the fact that the one-off ride is burning just 1 liter of fuel every 100 km (282 mpg UK / 235 mpg US), emitting just 22 g/km of CO2. These figured have been obtained thanks to the plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.0 liter three-cylinder gasoline engine, with 75 HP, backed up by an electric motor, in the clutchless three-speed transmission and a 6.7 kWh battery. The model is also aerodynamically optimized and light.
