The Renault Laguna Coupe will get a new powertrain in some markets, in the shape of the 1.5 liter dCi turbocharged diesel unit.
According to the French based car manufacturer, the Renault Laguna Coupe with the all-new powertrain will be available on just a few European markets for the moment, like France, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands, where the model will set its future buyers back for 30,400 euros for the Euro Black Edition. The Renault Laguna Coupe with its new 1.5 liter diesel engine will be launched at the beginning of July or even sooner, but the small unit fitted onto that beautiful body will kill the dream of owning it.
Renault says that the new 1.5 liter dCi engine for the Laguna Coupe has 1,461cc and the unit will generate a total output of just 110 horsepower. The powertrain will compensate with a low fuel consumption of 4.2 liters burned every 100 km and low CO2 emissions of 109 g/km. As a quick reminder, the Renault Laguna Coupe is coming with a satellite navigation system as standard and a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels. The model’s facelifted version is adding LED daytime running lights in the form of an “L” shaped bar. More details on the new diesel version will be announced soon.
