The French based automaker Renault is planning to develop its own version of the Lodgy, which will be launched in India in 2014.
After it was well received by the audience at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Renault is planning to develop its own version of the Dacia Lodgy, which will be offered in different markets across the globe. One of those first markets to welcome the Renault Lodgy will be India, where the model will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo. The Renault Lodgy is expected to arrive at the company’s showrooms across the country right after the automotive event.
No additional details are being known for the moment on the Indian Renault Lodgy but in Europe, the Dacia version is coming with a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine under its hood, producing 115 GP, along with the 1.6 liter with 85 HP and a 1.5 with liter dCi in two diesel outputs, with 90 HP and with 110HP. The Dacia Lodgy is also getting a 7-inch touch screen navigation system, Bluetooth, radio, USB, AUX connectivity, steering wheel controls and a lot of other interesting features.
