The new generations of the Renault Logan and Renault Sandero Stepway have been recently spotted in Russia, at the Avtovaz’s plant in Togliatti.
Renault is planning to introduce its own Logan and Sandero Stepway versions right after pulling the wraps off the facelifted Duster low-cost SUV, just a few days ago, and the two models are being placed into the spotlights for the first time with the help of some images, which are showing them in Togliatti, at the Avtovaz manufacturing facility.
The Russian versions of the Renault Sandero Stepway and Renault Logan, in their new generations, are believed to get only a single engine under their hoods, which will be a 1.6 liter petrol, which is producing just over 100 HP. Another petrol engine might be introduced for the two models later on but it’s uncertain whether this will be a 1.4 liter or the new turbocharged 1.2 liter, which is already available for the facelifted Duster.
We will have to remind you that the new generations of the Logan and Sandero, made under the Dacia name, have been officially presented to the public back in 2012, during the Paris Motor Show. In the UK market, the Sandero Stepway is available from just under 8,000 GBP and it’s coming with ABS, ESC, front and side airbags in standard form.
