A couple of new renderings with the upcoming 3-door version of the new Renault Megane have ended up on the web.
The introduction of the new-gen Renault Megane has started a new trend in which rendering artists are battling against each other in order to try and figure it out what the future versions of the French car will look like. After checking it out in the time has come for the compact vehicle to return in yet more renderings, this time as a coupe. The two images posted below have been signed by Theophilus Chin and they are representing the artist’s vision of the upcoming model.
However, despite calling it an “upcoming model”, its future is quite uncertain because Renault hasn’t announced any plans of introducing this variant. If it will indeed decide to put it into production, then expect it to be quite similar to the one pictured below, as it will be maintaining it LED DRLs, LED taillights, muscular profile and it will be ditching the rear doors and adopt a more sloping roofline. The interior will be most likely sportier and the engine lineup will be shared with its 5-door brother. This means that we can expect the TCe petrol burners with 100 HP (74 kW), 130 HP (96 kW) and 205 HP (151 kW), along with the diesel units, the dCi 90, dCi 110 and dCi 130.
