The French based automaker Renault has recently announced the launch of the Megane GT 220 Estate in Australia, where the model costs 36, 990 AUD.
The Renault Megane GT 220 Estate is 4, 567 mm long, 1,804 mm wide and 1,494 mm tall, riding on a 2,703 mm wheelbase. The model in question has a Renaultsport tuned GT chassis and it’s offered in two versions, the standard one, which receives the cruise control, DLR, fog lights, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, auto wipers, auto headlights, roof bars and 18-inch alloy wheels, for 36,990 AUD, and the Premium Pack, adding panoramic sunroof, sat-nav, front parking sensors, rearview camera, two-tone leather seats, lane departure warning and bi-xenon headlights, for an extra 5,000 AUD.
The Renault Megane GT 220 Estate is powered by the same 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the Megane RS265 coupe. The unit is producing a total output of 162 kW, between 4,750 rpm and 6,500 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 340 Nm available between 2,400 rpm and 3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and it’s fitted with stop/start technology which is reducing fuel consumption. The average figures stand between 7.3L / 100km to 11.3L / 100km.
