Renault has recently announced the introduction of the Megane RS 265 in Australia, where the model in question will go on sale soon.
According to the car manufacturer, Australians will soon be able to order the limited Megane RS 265 Edition, as the hot hatch will be launched in the Pacific country soon. The model in question will be limited to just 50 units and it’s losing some of the equipment which is standard on the RS 265 Cup, like the automatic headlights, auto keyless entry, the dual-zone climate control, which is replaced by the air conditioning, the R.S. Monitor 2.0 andsome other tweaks.
The new Renault Megane RS 265 is using the same 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the RS 265 Cup, which is picking up the automatic stop/start technology. The total output produced by the unit stands at 195 kW and 360 Nm of torque, which are being sent to the front wheels. Speaking of the wheels, you should know that the limited edition of the hot hatch is riding on 18-inch alloy rims, just like the RS 265 Cup. Prices for the model will start from 37,990 AUD, plus on-road costs, but until the end of April, the model has a special price of 36,990 AUD.
