The new Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy-R is now available for order in its homeland for a whopping 45,000 euros, taxes included.
After officially presenting the Megane RS 275 Trophy-R just a few months ago and then announcing that this is the fastest front-wheel drive production car on the Nurburgring, the French based automaker Renault is now placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time by announcing its starting price in its home land. The hot hatch is anything but cheap as it will set you back for 45,000 euros, taxes included and it will become available for order in approximately 15 countries.
French customers can place their orders for the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy-R starting from the 1st of July as the model in question is coming with the new two-tone color scheme, with the optional Pearlescent White finish, the Etoile Black roof, the Cup chassis, the limited slip differential, the Ohlins Road and Track dampers, the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires specially created for it and with some other tweaks which will help it differentiate. The hot hatch is 101 kg lighter and it has a 2.0 liter petrol burner under its hood, producing 271 HP. Only 250 units of the car will be produced.
