Renault is known for applying F1 technology on its road cars and the latest example of paying tribute to its Formula 1 partner, Red Bull Racing, is named the Megane RS Red Bull Racing RB8.
The model in question is a special edition of the Renault Megane RS and it has been designed in order to celebrate the third Constructors’ world title, which was secured at the end of 2012. The Renault Megane RS Red Bull Racing RB8 Limited Edition has been made after Renault and Red Bull have teamed up. The model has an F1-style front bumper blade, door handles, rear lip spoiler and wing mirror housings finished in Platinum Grey.
The Renault Megane RS Red Bull Racing RB8 Limited Edition is based on the Megane RS265 and it’s powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 261 BHP (195 kW) and it has a peak torque of 360 Nm. The model is also coming with 19-inch black wheels wrapped in Bridgestone tires. The interior design is getting leather/fabric Recaro seats, aluminum sill guards, floor mats, Connected R-Link multimedia, RS Monitor data logging and much more. The model will be sold in 26 countries and it will be priced from 36,000 EUR.
