The French based automaker Renault has recently pulled the wraps off the Scala model in India which might actually be the second generation of the Dacia Logan under a different logo.
After the new generation of the budget sedan, the Dacia Logan, has been spied a couple of times over the last months, no details on it have been revealed by the Romanian carmaker but the new generation of the model might be right under our eyes, with some minor changes to its body, under the different logo. Rumors are saying that the Renault Scala, which was recently unveiled in India, might be launch in Europe too, as the new Dacia Logan.
According to the car manufacturer, the Renault Scala in question is getting a 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine with 85 horsepower, but a 1.6 liter petrol, with 110 horsepower, is also available. In some markets, the Scala is also getting a 1.5 liter petrol unit, with 100 HP, so if you were expecting powerful engines for the new Logan generation, think again, because this would mean increased production costs which will eventually reflect into the final cost of the model.
