It may not be here yet but don’t act too surprised if you will see it in a dealership nearby soon.
The Renault Talisman has been officially unveiled a few weeks back and it is now highlighted once again with the help of two images. The photos posted below are nothing more than simple renderings which have been put together by Theophilus Chin and they are showing us how this may look like if the carmaker will decide to offer it as a coupe too. The model in question may turn out to be the successor of the Laguna Coupe but considering the fact that we found out that Renault will only offer it as an Estate, beside the 4-door sedan variant, chances are this will never hit the market.
Renault will be offering the Talisman in the Initiale Paris flagship version first. The model in question will be introduced at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and it will come with goodies such as the massage functions for the seats, the heater, memory, the Bose surround sound system, the R-Link 2 infotainment system, an 8.7-inch display on higher end models, the R-Link infotainment system and so on. As far as the engine lineup goes, two petrol burners will be offered, the TCe 150 and the TCe 200, connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The diesel units will be the dCi 110 and the dCi 130, connected to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Later on, Renault will also introduce a range topping twin-turbo dCi.
