It may not have been officially confirmed at this time but it isn’t completely ruled out either.
Just a day ago, the inautonews.com team found out that Renault is going to produce an RS version of the Talisman if enough customers will ask for one. Now, time has come to find out just how this may look like, thanks to an image. This has been signed by X-Tomi Design and it is nothing more than a simple rendering at this point, getting the visual changes performed to the front fascia, to its side and we can also notice the black roof, the larger wheels covering the upgrade braking system and, of course, the visible RS badge on the front grille.
The whole car has been made orange, the chassis has been lowered, we can notice some black accents on it and there is no question that if it will end up looking like this, then it will definitely differentiate from the standard models quite easily. At this point we have no clue on what Renault might use under the hood of the range-topping flagship sedan but the current model is making use of the TCe 150 and the TCe 200 petrol burners, connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. There are two diesel engines too, the dCi 110 and the dCi 130 and later on, the carmaker will introduce a twin turbo dCi diesel too. The Talisman will probably make its public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
