French car manufacturer Renault has presented the first picture of the facelifted Twingo model, which is adopting one of Laurens van den Acker’s design concepts, head-chief of the creation department within the Group.
As we can see from the official picture, the front grill and headlights will be slightly modified while the fog lights will be repositioned. The rims will also get a new design while the interior will be better equipped, according to the auto maker.
The facelifted Twingo will get the same engines as the current version, with the same 133 horsepower as top of the line. A hybrid or electric version of the Twingo could make its appearance somewhere in 2014, when the new generation is expected.
The Renault Twingo facelift will make its official appearance during the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, and will probably hit the showrooms right after the event.
