The French automaker is looking to secure even more customers from across the Channel for its A-segment representative by offering the Twingo in a new flagship special series.
The new limited edition is called “Iconic” – and it’s offered on the British market as the most expensive version. The new flagship Twingo Iconic is wearing a bespoke Mint Green paint, though buyers can also opt for a Crystal White or Diamond Black apparition. Since we’re dealing with the top of the line trim version, Renault has fitted its cutesy city car with a wide array of standard equipment – including a fabric folding sunroof, electrically folding heated mirrors, side decals, bespoke 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, automatic headlights and wipers.
Inside the tiny cabin, the Twingo comes with satellite navigation, climate control, electric windows, DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and a speed limiter – all in all the Iconic packs £2,825 worth of additional equipment compared to the Dynamique Nav trim, with the new special series kicking off at £14,595 (you save £740). The only engine option is the brand’s turbocharged three-cylinder, 0.9-liter engine with manual or dual-clutch gearboxes. In case you don’t want the 90 hp, you can always go for the GT model, costing £14,250 and featuring the 110 hp version and sporty detailing all around.
