Renault has officially pulled the wraps off a limited edition version of the new Twingo generation.
In between the development of concept cars for video games and the unveil of the Kwid which is aimed towards the Indian auto market, Renault has also unveiled a limited edition version of the new Twingo generation. The model in question has been based on the Twingo Zen and it is coming with the 15-inch Vivastella style two-tone alloy wheels, the side stripes, the white exterior accents on the grille, on the door moldings and on the side mirrors and several other tweaks.
“Regarding equipment, the limited-edition Twingo Limited will come as standard with climate control, electric front windows and a Connect R&GO radio. Working in tandem with the R&GO multimedia application, this radio enables users to browse and listen to music stored on portable devices, manage their contacts and make calls, as well as to receive vehicle data on their smartphone”, says the automaker in the press release.
If you were hoping for some modifications made under its hood, you will be disappointed because the third generation of the model, in its limited edition version, is still making use of the same 0.9 liter TCe or the 1.0 liter units, connected to the only transmission available, the 5-speed manual. Despite being based on the Zen version and getting more features than it, the new Renault Twingo Limited Edition is actually 200 euros cheaper than it and this basically means a 5.4 percent saving for customers. Prices for the car start from 12,200 euros and this is available for order in France.
