The facelifted version of the Twingo RS has been recently launched in the United Kingdom by the French based automaker Renault.
After the regular version of the Twingo facelift arrived in the United Kingdom, the model has been once again placed into the spotlights after Renault has announced that the Twingo RS facelift has been launched there too. According to the car manufacturer, the Renault Twingo RS facelift will be available for its future customers in the United Kingdom starting from the 23rd of April, 2012, and the model will be priced at 13,565 GBP.
The French car manufacturer says that the facelifted Twingo Renaultsport is coming with standard equipment worth 500 GBP, such as the cruise control, a speed limited and Bluetooth, but as an option, future owners of the mini hot-hatch can also order the Cup chassis for an extra 700 pounds and the Renaultsport Liquid Yellow paint, visible in the images below, for 1,300 pounds.
Even if the Renault Twingo RS facelift is now adding some exterior changes to the front and rear fascias, the tech side remained unchanged and the hot hatch is still powered by the 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine, which is developing a total output of 133 HP at 6,750 rpm and 160 Nm of torque available at 4,400 rpm. The Twing RS facelift can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h). The engine is returning an average of 43.5 mpg and emits 150 g/km of CO2.
