A limited edition of the Renault Twingo, named the Summertime, has been recently launched on its local auto market, by the French based automaker.
With the future generation of the Renault Twingo not getting an RS version because of low sales of the version, the car company is trying to put its small hatchback into the spotlights by giving it a mild update on a special edition which will be named the Summertime. According to the car manufacturer, the Renault Twingo Summertime limited edition is actually based on the Authentique equipment level, but the model is also adding some extra features, like the manual climate control, electric canvas sunroof, R-Plug&Radio+ audio and remote central super-locking (whatever that is).
The Renault Twingo Summertime limited edition will be available to its future customers with a choice of four exterior colors: the Pearlescent Black, the Fuchsia Violet, the Vanilla and the Bermudes Blue. Renault says that door mirrors, wheel trims and interior trim have been finished in black. The Renault Twingo Summertime edition can be ordered with either the 1.2 liter 16-valve petrol burner, with its 75 HP, or the 75 HP dCi diesel engine. For the first one, prices have been set at 12,200 euros while the second one costs 14,000. The promotion is only available in France at the beginning of June but the model can be ordered starting today, the 10th of May, 2012.
