The 2015 Renault Traffic has been unveiled, following some teaser sketches, and it will go on sale this summer.
The third generation of the Renault Traffic has went official after the French based automaker has pulled the wraps off its body. The model in question is looking better than its predecessor and it has a more imposing front fascia with slender headlights, a larger front grille and diamond logo and a sloped windscreen. Renault is offering 270 versions of the model with two different lengths, two heights, crew van, panel van, passenger variant and other derivatives which have been approved by the company.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the 2015 Renault Traffic will get turbocharged downsized units, which also include the new 1,6 liter dCi four-cylinder, with 160 HP, which has been revealed just a few weeks ago. This will come with a single turbo version which will increase the fuel economy by 15 percent, assuring an average fuel consumption of just 6 liters every 100 km (47 mpg UK / 39 mpg US). Renault will produce the new Traffic at the Sandouville plant, in France, where more than 230 million euros have been invested for this third-gen LCV. The new Renault Traffic will go on sale this summer and prices will be announced close to its launch.
