Renault unveils Kangoo facelift ahead of Geneva debut

The French based automaker Renault has pulled the wraps off the facelifted Kangoo, ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next week.

According to the car manufacturer, the “new” Renault Kangoo is coming with a new front grille, with a redesigned wider front bumper, a glossy black finish for the passenger versions, smoked headlights for some models, new taillights and a different dashboard layout. These changes should help the model stand out in a crowd and attract more customers into the brand, but Renault has to wait and see how the model will be welcomed by the audience in Geneva.

Two new variants named the Extrem and the Business are now available for the facelifted Kangoo and the fully loaded Extrem is coming with roof rails, R-Link touch screen multimedia infotainment, dual tone front bumper, 15-inch gloss black alloy wheels, body decals, ESC, hill start assist and more. Power to the facelifted Kangoo and Grand Kangoo is provided by the 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine, available in three outputs, 75 HP, 90 HP and 110 HP. The model is also coming with a 1.2 liter turbocharged direct injected petrol engine, with 115 HP.
