Renault has recently announced that the Zoe model will be launched at the end of 2012 and the first orders for the EV will be taken after the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The Renault Zoe will be the fourth electric vehicle developed by the French based automaker and it will join the Fluence ZE, the Kangoo ZE and the Twizy in the company’s electric vehicle stable. Renauly says that the Zoe will have a starting price of 15, 700 euros and battery lease prices, which are separate from the initial purchase price, will start at 70 euros monthly under a contract which covers 12,500 km a year for three years.
The newest electric vehicle in Renault’s lineup, the Zoe, will get features such as an R-Link multimedia tablet, automatic climate control, battery charger and more. Renault says that the R-Link multimedia tablet will have a 7-inch touchscreen display with speech recognition and it will control several key functions including the audio system, the electric vehicle driving guidance and the Carminat TomTom Live navigation system. The Renault Zoe will go on sale this autumn, after the model will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show in September.
