Another rendering with the Audi Q6 is showing us the upcoming model which will be rivaling the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and the BMW X6.
BMW has really opened a new path in the luxury SAV segment with its introduction of the X6 and after its competition though that such a vehicle would never work but turned out to be very wrong, time has come for Mercedes-Benz to introduce the GLE Coupe, years later, and now it seems that Audi will be introducing such a vehicle too. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet and the images posted below are simple renderings at this time, but we have to admit that a third choice in the segment can only bring better sales.
The two photos in question have been signed by Theophilus Chin and they have been based on the new generation of the Audi Q7, which has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 North American International Auto Show, a few weeks back. The main differences are in the roofline, which is now sloping, and also to the radiator grille, to the smaller taillights and several other tweaks. If it will indeed make it into production, than the Audi Q6 will most likely share the engine lineup with the new Q7, including the 2.0 TFSI with 252 HP and 370 Nm, the 3.0L TFSI with 333 HP and 440 Nm and the 3.0L TDI with 218 HP and 500 Nm and with 272 HP and 600 Nm.
