A couple of renderings are showing us what the brand new Cadillac CTS-V may look like in an estate body style.
Did you ever wonder what would the new Cadillac CTS-V look like in a more practical version of an estate? Well, if not, don’t worry, because Theophilus Chin has and as a result, two renderings have been created. Don’t expect any major modifications in its front fascia because the rear end is where things have gotten quite mad, with the addition of the longer quarter panels, the long taillights, the sporty bumper and the rear diffuser with the integrated quad exhaust pipes. Keep in mind that such a version hasn’t been confirmed at this time but if it will, than it will become a rival for the Audi RS6.
The Cadillac CTS-V has made its public debut at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, back in January. The model is rivaling the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and it has a more aggressive aerodynamic body kit, 19-inch forged wheels, upgraded Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management with four modes, Brembo brakes, improves steering and so on. Under its hood, we will find the 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 640 HP (477 kW) and a peak torque of 855 Nm (630 lb-ft). This is connected to the 8-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this configuration, the performance full-sized sedan needs 3.7s to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) and it can go up to 200 mph (322 km/h).
