The upcoming Jeep Wrangler isn’t going to be a surprise for anyone if these renders – which are actually updated constantly with all the new features that leak – are entirely accurate with their depiction of the iconic off-roader.
The legendary model is reportedly going to bow in front of the worldwide audience of the Los Angeles Auto Show this coming December, and these new renderings treat us to the latest known preview of the two-door Sport and Rubicon models to ease the wait. FCA isn’t going to alienate any fan and is playing it safe – we have the same general look that makes us thing this is a mere facelift. Actually, the modifications run deep, with the taillights modified with LED lighting, the front grille is now angled, and the front bumper fog lights and headlights feature LED technology as well. Remember – take this with a pinch of salt, as we’re only dealing with a rendering, not a leak of the real deal.
The new Wrangler is expected at dealerships late this year or early in 2018, after officially arriving at the LA Auto Show – the two-door version could actually come second, after the four-door Unlimited. According to reports, FCA is keen on keeping the current generation alive – and the two versions will be produced side by side for a brief period of time, while the new Wrangler is also allegedly sharing its new aluminum intensive platform with the next generation Ram 1500 pickup.
