The new generation of the Audi A4 is now returning to our attention with the help of a few renderings which are showing its front fascia, rear end and cabin design.
There is no surprise anymore that Audi is currently working on a new generation of the A4 because such a model has been caught on camera several times by spy photographers across the continent in the last few months. Now, after a lot of spy shots, the model is turning back to our attention with the help of three renderings which are showing us how this may look like in its front and rear fascias and inside. The renderings have been based on recent spy shots and they are showing us how the new mid-size sedan may look like.
The 2016 Audi A6 is believed to carry an evolutionary design and to remain instantly recognizable but it will also grow in order to put some space between it and its smaller brother, the A3 Sedan. The model should be riding on the MLB Evo platform and this will assure it will handle better in corners and will also shed some weight. As far as the engine lineup goes, one of the most interesting versions is believed to be the e-tron, which will be making use of the 2.0 TDI unit with 190 HP, along with two electric motors, producing a combined 136 HP. The assembly will be connected to a 9-speed S tronic transmission. The range topping RS4 is believed to be introduced in a couple of years and rumor has it that it will be more powerful than the M3.
