The recently unveiled McLaren 570S has been rendered recently, in a Spider version, and we have to admit that this is one good looker.
There is no surprise anymore that McLaren is planning two more versions of the recent 570S, with one of them being an entry-level version, the 540C, while the other getting an open-top design, the Spider. This particular model has been rendered recently and we have to admit that it is one good looking ride. Chances are the final production variant will look very similar to the one in the image posted above, but we still have to wait for it until the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, where it is expected to be unveiled, or for the beginning of next year.
The McLaren 570S is a rival for the Porsche 911 Turbo S and for the Audi R8 V10 Plus, amongst others. Power is coming from the familiar 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing 570 HP (419 kW) at 7,400 rpm and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, available between 5,000 rpm and 6,500 rpm. The unit is sending power to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed SSG transmission. This is allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph). The McLaren 570S has been officially presented to the public last week, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, in a world premiere. The model starts from 143,250 GBP, in the UK.
