The guys at OmniAuto are well known for their clever pen and brush work (ok, 3D design actually) on current and upcoming models – but this time around they decided to pay tribute to the Italian forces.
So the renders are showcasing what the new Fiat Tipo would look like if it had decided to join both the Carabinieri and Polizia, proudly adorning their respective liveries. And by the way, seeing the Tipo with the respective forces is not really something to be unexpected, given the fact that we’re used to seeing FCA providing vehicles to the Italian forces. We all know the all new Tipo moniker has been resurrected to deliver Fiat’s new entry-level sedan and by the looks and information we gathered so far it will be an interesting addition to the segment. OmniAuto has decided to play with both Italian forces and thus has dressed the Tipo with the military police livery to serve the Carabinieri and in Polizia apparel to make it useful for the local civilian police as well.
The Tipo comes with a wide choices of engines but if the Italian authorities decide to use it for their forces they might look deeper into the model equipped with the MultiJet II 1.6-liter turbodiesel that has 120 PS (88 kW) and in Italy has a starting price of 18,700 euros. And if they need more variants, they could also expect to see the Tipo declined in a five-door hatchback version or the very useful station wagon version.
