Rented Ferrari 458 Spider crashed on Christmas day in Las Vegas image

A new incident involving a Ferrari 458 Spider is coming from Las Vegas as this happened on Christmas day.

The driver of this Ferrari 458 Spider might have been very naughty all year because Santa Claus has given him a different present – a crash. The supercar in question was a rental so the insurance will probably cover it up but this definitely left a big hole in the driver’s ego. The incident took place on Christmas day, near Tropicana Avenue and Decatur, in Las Vegas and it left a big mark on the pole.

Ferrari has introduced the 458 Spider a couple of years since the 458 Italia has been in production. The supercar is basically the same, except for the solid hardtop, which is lighter than the one of its predecessor, the F430 Spider. The same 4.5 liter V8 engine is found under its hood, connected to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission, producing a total of 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h, the supercar has the same time as the 458 Italia but the top speed has been lowered to “just” 320 km/h (199 mph).
