The all-new Wrangler has finally arrived… with less information than anyone wanted or expected, given the upcoming worldwide presentation at the end of the month during the Los Angeles Auto Show.
What we’ve seen so far are just three official pictures, along with a raft of accessories from Mopar that debuted during the SEMA event in Las Vegas. The fan favorite off-roader comes with evolutionary styling, retaining all of its iconic cues, new and modern equipment and allegedly new powertrains. There is also some juicy new information to discuss, thanks to a “leak” coming from the Jeep website. The good folks over at the JLWranglerForums were on point, snapping some shots – so we now know the four-door 2018 Wrangler Unlimited Sport JLU is kicking off at $30,445 in the United States, on top of that being added the $995 delivery fee.
The Unlimited Sport model keeps its status as the base four-door, but the new MSRP has jumped $2,550 against the pricing for the 2017 model year. he 2018 Sport JKU, meanwhile, is apparently retaining its original base asking price of $23,995. Besides the new prices, another leak shows the options list featuring three trim levels and all the additional options. For example, the base Sport doesn’t come with AC, but has new additions such as three separate tow hooks, electronic stability control, tinted glass, a fuel tank skid plate, hill start assist, and even a five-inch Uconnect Infotainment system, among others, as standard perks.
