And if you want the stupendously marvelous Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante and have that kind of money you need to hurry – because the reports are claiming the order books will be full on Monday.
Due to the “overwhelming customer interest for the previously revealed coupe,” Aston Martin revealed not long ago with its partner Zagato the open-top Vanquish mod. It’s an exclusive thing – with just 99 units being produced, just like the coupe brethren – and if you have at least $850,000 lying around you need to be quick on a decision and make a $150,000 deposit to get your name on the list by contacting Aston Martin before October 10. Of course, the automaker isn’t saying a word about this and we’re actually sure there’s no example left even though the order books haven’t closed yet.
The Vanquish Zagato Volante will reach its intended customers in at least a year from now, and production of the carbon fiber-bodied marvel could cease early 2018. The coupe, most likely a tad more affordable than its open-top sibling, will be the first to grace the new owners, with first deliveries scheduled for early 2017. Aston Martin’s familiar naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine is on point and will pack 592 horsepower (441 kilowatts), sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox from ZF.
