We’ve seen biopics are an interesting niche for the movie makers and movie goers, with personalities such as Steve Jobs even getting two movies in the span of just a couple of years.
We’re really not going to be judgmental and deliver an argument towards these ideas, but it’s true that some personalities are truly disserving of such cultural acts – flawed or not. And now fans of the exotic Italian supercars can rejoice since according to a rumor flying around the mill there’s movie in the works that will cover the life story of Ferruccio Lamborghini. If you don’t know who that is we have to tell you you’ve come to the wrong place – this is an automotive website, not the daily source of star gossip.
Anyways, details are scarce for now but apparently production company Ambi Group has secured the rights to depict Ferruccio’s life story. Accordingly the plot should cover his early days when he began building tractors, his later move into the wartime effort and the birth of Automobili Lamborghini. The report picked summer as the timeframe for the start of the production effort, but we don’t have any clue to who’s playing in just yet. And by the way, you might also know the Italian car company battle is reaching the silver screens as there’s an Enzo Ferrari movie coming out sooner – with Christian Bale apparently attached to play the biopic.
