The latest rumor flying around the mill points towards the yet to be introduced Pagani Huayra sporting some juicy updates – it will gain 100 hp and lose 330 lbs compared to the regular Huayra.
We’re impatiently awaiting for Pagani to deliver on its promises and finally introduce to the worldwide audience the hardcore version of the Huayra beginning of next month during the Geneva Motor Show. And now our hopes are even higher since according to the report a “trustable” source has gained some inside information about the upcoming supercar directly from the carmaker. It appears the reports on the model’s “BC” moniker to indeed pay tribute to Benny Caiola (a renowned car collector that has since passed away) and the special series will be limited to an exclusive production run of just 20 units. But there’s also word none of them is available anymore even though there’s a lofty price target of about $2.8 million (2.5 million euros).
The report goes on to confirm the alleged gym program for the Huayra BC that will result in the loss of 330 pounds (150 kilograms) from the standard guise that is tipping the scale at 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg). Also, the biturbo AMG 6.0-liter V12 will experience some magic moments with Pagani’s engineers pushing it for another 100 horsepower on top of today’s 730 hp. With tipped credentials at 830 hp and a framework weighing just 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg), we can all imagine the performance figures will be better for the BC, with the regular Huayra taking 3.3 seconds to reach the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark from a standing start.
