It appears the high-performance GT350 will allegedly live to see anther model year without any important upgrades – though the regular versions of the pony car are in line for a line of changes.
Apparently dealers across the country have been announced the 2018MY Shelby GT350 Program Enrollment is now open and will be closed on February 27, 2017, so they need to move quickly if they want a few examples. According to an official document, the model year change log will include new exterior colors, but that’s all there is to speak off differently compared to the outgoing 2017MY. There are no definitive details about the new shades, but the rumor mill speaks off “Orange Fury” and “Lead Foot Gray,” according to data gained from an internal dealer ordering system.
The facelift is coming up quickly for the regular Mustang, and it’s assumed it will include a plethora of goodies, but at least until the 2019 model year Shelby GT350 they will be reserved apparently for the lesser models. Meanwhile, rumors about the latter getting a fast-shift dual clutch automatic transmission have not panned out – at least not for the 2018 model year, apparently. The standard Mustang is expected to come up with the ten-speed automatic transmission but lose the 3.7-liter V6 engine – and we might see the refreshed model as soon as the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this coming January.
