The Boutique automaker has had an interesting run with the Beast – and even “tamed” it for proper street use with the Beast Alpha, but it’s now turning back to hardcore offerings with the Tank SUV.
In case you think the Tank moniker is an exaggeration from the California-based automaker, we may remind you the off-roader can also be fitted with army-inspired options such as ballistic armor and nightvision, too. Now, the Tank won’t save you on the battlefield, but it surely will get you prime time at the local off-road trail or sand dune among the crowd of Jeep Wranglers, Land Rover Defenders or Toyota Land Cruisers. Rezvani’s new high-performance SUV has what it takes to get out of any tricky situation – 6.4-liter V8 good for 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts) and 430 pound-feet (583 Newton-meters) of torque.
We’ll let you subjectively judge the Tank’s design, but as far as Rezvani is concerned, they styled the SUV from military vehicles, though the overall shape is more appropriate for an upcoming Sci-Fi picture rather a current battlefield. While the exterior is quite rugged, inside Rezvani gives clients all the luxury amenities, complete with package for leather upholstery and a suede headliner. The 7.9-inch infotainment system comes with Google Maps, Pandora, Stitcher, and other apps and there’s also a head-up display for driver info on the go. Rezvani even lets clients tweak the Tank with two additional off-road packages – standard one hooks he SUV to a six-inch lift and Fox 2.5-inch remote reservoir shocks, Dynatrac ProRock 44/60 axle set with E-lockers as well as 37-inch off-road tires.
Go all out with the Off-Road Extreme Package and Rezvani brings a Dynatrac ProRock XD60/80 axle set with air lockers and an air compressor, Dynatrac ProGrip front and rear brakes, and Fox’s 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Shocks with the company’s Dual Speed Compression technology. The optionally available ballistic armor package comes with Kevlar armor, bullet-resistant glass, military-grade run-flat tires, and extra protection around the fuel tank, radiator, and floor pan. The base Rezvani Tank kicks off at $178,500, with orders already open and first deliveries scheduled before the end of the year.
