Rezvani will be presenting in front of the worldwide audience of the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16 the Beast Alpha, but before that happens we found from the latest teaser it features some unique doors.
The Rezvani Beast Alpha will set itself apart in the world of exotic sports car through its quirky sidewinder doors that slide forward to open. The boutique sports carmaker claims the wild Sidewinder doors allow a wide opening with a very small outward clearance – which looks to be true, though we suspect the idea is also for show. Rezvani has remained mum on most of the Beast Alpha’s details, but we already know they intend to offer a tamed version of the hardcore Beast and Beast X.
The Alpha will thus pack worldly amenities like air conditioning, traction control, and airbags – and the design also includes a removable roof section. The first teaser from back in April included the powertrain details – the standard Beast’s Honda-sourced supercharged 2.4-liter engine with 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts) will remain, hooked to a six-speed manual sending power to the rear wheels. The standard Beats sources its chassis from the Ariel Atom 3 and has the design completed with a carbon fiber body – tipping the scales at just 1,650 pounds (748 kilograms).
