The boutique automaker has decided to tame the beast by revealing a version that will feature creature comfort options – which should bode well with the latest modifications that already made the cabin a bit more upscale.
The California-based exotic brand had the cabin of the standard Beats tweaked out using some carbon fiber and Alcantara leather, and now the company is upping the stakes. Rezvani Motors will be offering a more comfortable version of the car all-round, as it should use proper doors, a removable hardtop, and air conditioning to keep you cool. But don’t worry, you’ll be getting the same super lightweight, mid-engined machine. Making the journey less Spartan is the company’s decision to dress up the interior of the cabin in leather and Alcantara. The tamed Beast Alpha will also come packing a carbon fiber bodywork and a six-speed manual transmission just like its 1,650-pounds (750-kilograms) sibling – though this one is going to be a bit more on the heavy side due to all the additions.
The same Honda-sourced supercharged 2.4-liter engine will move the machine, delivering 500 horsepower. There are no detailed performance figures yet, though we can imagine it will come with a slight dynamic performance over the regular Beast, which can handle the 60 mph (100 km/h) sprint in as little as 2.7 seconds. The regular version also went flat out until it hit the maximum speed of 165 mph (265 km/h). Rezvani hasn’t presented the model yet, but in Tesla style it’s already accepting orders through refundable $1,000 deposits.
