And he will become one of the first famous people to have a Ferrari 488 GTB in his garage.
Famous American skateboarder and reality TV star Rob Dyrdek has announced his plans to sell his Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in order to buy a newer model, the 488 GTB. Dyrdek has shared a few images on social media in which he is selling his black F12 Berlinetta to Ferrari Beverly Hills and in which he is checking out his personalized 488 GTB on the online configurator.
His newest ride will get a simple shade of white covering its body and it will be coming with the matching white side skirts, the twin five-spoke silver wheels and the yellow brake calipers. Selling a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to get a 488 GTB may not be appreciated by most of the company’s fans but in the end, let’s not forget that this is still based on the 458 which has been praised by a lot of people.
The Ferrari 488 GTB has been officially unveiled earlier this year and it is coming with an updated design. The 4.5 liter naturally aspirated engine used on the 458 has been dropped in favor of a new 3.9 liter twin turbo V8. The unit is capable of putting down a total of 670 HP (493 kW) and a peak torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes 3 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (205 mph).
