Rod Stewart has been recently seen driving his brand new ride, a white finished Ferrari 458 Spider, in Los Angeles, with the top down.
Famous British music artist Rod Stewart has a good taste in cars as he already owns a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Range Rover and several other vehicles, but what rocker would be himself if he didn’t have at least a supercar in his garage. The newest addition to his personal car collection was this white finished Ferrari 458 Spider as Rod has been spotted driving his new “baby” in Los Angeles recently, with the top down. We have to admit that this is quite a trendy color, especially with that red finished interior.
The Ferrari 458 has been around since 2009 and it is close to getting a replacement, which won’t really be a completely new ride but more as a significant facelift, similar to what the carmaker did with the California and the California T. The rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive model is being offered in two body styles, a two-door coupe, the 458 Italia, and a two-door roadster, the 458 Spider. Both of them have 4,527 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width and 1,213 mm in height, taking their power from the same 4.5 liter V8 engine, which is capable of producing 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 458 Spider has been introduced back in 2011, at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in the same time as its solid roof brother.
