A unit of the Jeep Renegade, signed by the Rolling Stones, has been auctioned recently for an impressive 46, 000 USD.
The first Jeep to be built in Italy, the Renegade, has had some successful marketing as one unit has been signed by Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, and it has been recently auctioned off, by Charitybuz, an organization which is raising funds for nonprofits across the globe. The model in question has managed to find a new owner, who has preferred to remain anonymous, but not before paying 46,000 USD.
Jeep has sponsored the Rolling Stones’ European Summer Tour “14 on Fire), which ran between May 25 and July 2, last year, and the Renegade in question has been signed in Rome, in front of Circus Maximus, on the 22nd of June, when the band played in Italy. The 46,000 USD raised for this particular unit represents an impressive amount considering the fact that the cheapest versions starts from 16,995 GBP, in the United Kingdom. The model will arrive in dealerships next month with an engine lineup which will include the 1.5 eTorq with 110 HP, the 1.4L with 170 HP and the 2.0 MultiJet with 140 HP.
