Rolls-Royce announcing Ghost Firnas Motif Edition image

The luxury automaker Rolls-Royce has recently announced its plans to launch a special edition of the Ghost, named the Firnas Motif Edition.

According to the car manufacturer, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Firnas Motif Edition has been inspired by Abbass Ibn Firnas, an inventor who attempted to fly by using wings made of feathers. The model has been originally envisioned by Khadim Al Helli, from Abu Dhabi Motors, and it’s getting a two-tone exterior, a flight motif on the coach line, on the headrests, on the dashboard and on the sill plates. These details will help the model differentiate from the regular version and should attract more customers into the brand.

The -Royce Ghost Firnas Motif Edition is powered by the same 6.6 liter turbocharged V12 engine used on the standard model, which is producing a total output of 563 BHP (420 kW) and it has a peak torque of 780 Nm (575 lb-ft), mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The -Royce Ghost Firnas Motif Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Only five units of the -Royce Ghost Firnas Motif Edition will be produced and its price is unknown for the moment.
