Rolls-Royce has recently announced its plans to introduce the Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection, which has been designed to celebrate Campbell’s water speed record back in 1937.
The luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has recently announced its plans to introduce the so-called Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection. The model in question has been designed to celebrate Campbell’s waters peed record back in 1937 and the grandson and great grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell, Donald and Joe Wales, have been invited to officially sign off on this vehicle.
“It gives me great pleasure to reveal Waterspeed to Donald and Joe Wales. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars echo Sir Malcolm Campbell’s commitment to engineering excellence and the constant pursuit of the ultimate in British Design. Using only the finest materials and exceptional craftsmanship, we have created a car which demonstrates the possibilities of Bespoke personalization available to all Rolls-Royce customers”, said the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars bespoke designer, Alex Innes.
The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection will come with a hand-painted coachline, with a Maggiore Blue finish and with a brushed steel deck, which took 80 hours to produce. The model in question will also be coming with a lot of bespoke design features which “have never appeared on a Rolls-Royce before”. More details on this exclusive design of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following weeks.
